So, A-kon went pretty well.  I admit that it was nice being on the 3rd floor near the stairs.  The elevators were totally avoided and their horrid lines.  :)  And my Detective Conan related collection grew just the way I wanted.  With the acquisition of a large Kaitou Kid figure.  And the gift of a chibi!Kaitou Kid from my friend.  :D ( Read more... )

Currently, I'm playing catchup with the Detective Conan manga.  I lost interest a while back (a bit before the London case) and only got re-interested went a case centering around Detective Takagi came up (what can I say except I have a bit soft spot for him).  BTW, SatoXTakagi moments!  SQUEE!

Another spook_me  response!  Two more to go (Danny Phantom and Avatar: The Last Airbender)!  And this one ended up longer than I thought but it stayed closer to my original idea.  Not entirely happy with how I wrote the ending but everything else I like.  In fact, this one, except for the ending has been the easiest to write, so far.

But I really need to stop thinking of crossovers and fusions.  I'm seeing the core of the Detective Boys (Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta) as the Animaniacs.  Ayumi as Dot, Mitsuhiko as Yakko, and Genta as Wacko.  It works in a strange and bizarre way.
